BROCK UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS

Part of the Academic and Cultural Arts Centre for Downtown St. Catharines, the school is located in the historic Canada Hair Cloth building located southwest and adjacent to the City of St. Catharines Performing Arts Centre (PAC) site. The facility is connected to the PAC by a physical connection and houses Brock University’s Departments of Music, Visual Arts (VISA), Dramatic Arts (DART), and the Centre for Studies in Art and Culture. The existing building was completely renovated to suit the new use with classrooms, teaching studios, staff offices and related support spaces. An addition was added containing the Department of Dramatic Arts theatre complete with a 280 seat flexible studio theatre.
